About: Ngozi Ekeledo joined ABC 11 Eyewitness News in June 2014 as a sports multimedia journalist. She graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and worked as a "one man band" weekend sports anchor and reporter at KMVT/Fox 14 in Twin Falls, Idaho. Prior to this role, Ngozi had the opportunity to intern at ESPN during college, and there she was able to shadow reporters and anchors like Rachel Nichols (CNN/Turner Sports), Jemele Hill, Cassidy Hubbarth and Jay Harris. She was a part of the digital media staff that helped launch the Longhorn Network and other ESPN3 in-studio shows. She also served as a sideline reporter and camera operator for Northwestern Athletics' broadcasts on the Big Ten Network's StudentU Productions. In her free time, Ngozi loves to read, write, watch sports, play pick-up basketball, shop and attempt to make people laugh through her often "cheesy" jokes. Ngozi is originally from Macon, Georgia and is excited to explore the Triangle area and all that it has to offer. Ngozi would love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out to her on Twitter, @Ngozi_ABC11, with any story ideas or just to say hi!
